The City of Shimada in #Japan’s largest production region for #tea, #Shizuoka Prefecture, has a rap music video in English/Japanese/French (French rap sounds pretty cool).

All the cool dance scenes are at a temple rather than the #teafields which disappoints but all in all I give it 4/5 stars. What do you think?

Other videos are a little more realistic and in keeping with the generic image of tea, which is why I like their attempt at bringing the samurai spirit to the image of tea in the above rap video. For better or worse, the industry is male-dominated while the consumers in Japan are primarily elderly and, at least image-wise, skewed towards females.

How to choose Japanese tea

By partnering with a hundred plus artisanal Japanese tea farms and factories, we offer hundreds of green teas, and dozens of matcha, black tea, oolong tea, etc. Where do you start?

We recomend starting with Sampler Sets!
