There are several different types of tea pots made in Japan: Western style pots, traditionally Japanese kyusu with straight side handles, and kettle style pots with a handle on the top. In addition there are handless tea pots for very high quality gyokuro and sencha called houhin 宝瓶 (literally treasure container).
Yunomi bridges the language and cultural borders that separates Japanese tea farmers with tea enthusiasts worldwide. More than “farm-to-table”, we believe in “people-to-people”—at Yunomi, you can read about the farmers who grow your tea, while we translate your feedback into Japanese so they can learn about you! Join us in a life steeped in tea!
