Tea may vary depending on production, and may not exactly match the photos seen here. We utilize this product to practice and experiment with blending leaves in small 1-2 kg production lots (and sometimes tea leaf stems and tea leaf dust, for example enhancing a sencha with gyokuro tea dust). As experimentation we strive for consistency of flavor matching the quality level, but do expect differences from production to production.


  • Notes: A blend of bancha leaves with a touch of spring fukamushi and gyokuro to create an strong bodied green tea with a touch of sweetness.
  • Tea: 5 grams
  • Time: 1 minute
  • Water: 90C/195F, 200 ml.
  • Steep up to 2 times


  • Notes: A blend of spring harvested sencha leaves. Expect a complex, vegetal flavor.
  • Tea: 5 grams

  • Water: 80C/175F, 200 ml.
  • Steep up to 3 times


  • Notes: Always a blend of delicate, premium spring-harvested sencha leaves. Expect a complex, delicate flavor, with strong umami notes.
  • Tea: 5 grams
  • Time: 1 - 2 minutes depending on your strength preference.
  • Water: 60C/140F, 200 ml.
  • Steep up to 3 times
    • On second steeping, increase the temperature to 80-90C, and reduce the time to about 20 seconds.
    • On third steeping, increase the time to 60 seconds again
  • Adjust the steeping time to vary strength, adjust the temperature to vary astringency (hotter temperature for more astringency.
