Yametsuhime* Shrine 八女津媛神社 is where the name yame** 八女 comes from. The shrine was rebuild in 1988 due to a damage from rockfall but before that this is what the shrine looked like.

* The name Yametsuhime is used for one of Kurihara Tea’s product: Kurihara Tea #06: Imperial Sencha Yame Tsuhime
** Yame is a city in Fukuoka Prefecture, where the Kurihara Tea Farm is located.
