EVENT: Sayama-cha Tea Picking Festival

Annual Sayamacha Tea Picking Festval will be held at the end of May.

  • TIME: 10:00 – 15:30, May 31st (Saturday)
  • LOCATION: Saitama Prefectural Agricultural Research Center, Tea Research Facility (244-2 Kamiyaganuki, Iruma-shi, Saitama-ken)

  • EVENT: Tea Picking (no reservation necessary)
    • Dress up in traditional tea picking clothes (reserve on site that day)
    • Class: How to steep delicious tea
    • Class: How to roll tea by hand
    • Shincha will be on sale
  • ACCESS: 30 minute walk from Kaneko Station on the JR Hachiko Line
  • PARKING: Limited (about 300 spaces available)

  • 主なイベント内容:茶摘み体験(予約不要)
    • 茶娘体験(当日会場にて要予約)
    • おいしいお茶の淹れ方教室(予約不要)
    • 手揉み茶実演
    • 新茶販売など

駐車場として研究所内の未舗装通路を含め約300台分用意していますが、砂埃がかかることがありますのでご了承ください。
