Kamakura-based tea brand Chabakka Tea Parks presents a single cultivar, single estate kamairicha (pan-fired green tea). This tea leaf made from the Tsuyuhikari cultivar and in combination with the pan-firing processing method, creates a tea with uniquely vanilla & creamy notes.
Tsuyuhikari itself is a cultivar that was created by the cultivars asatsuyu (known as the natural gyokuro), and Shizu 7132 (known for its sakura-like aroma).

About the Farm
Yusuke Ota, carrying on the family farm from his father Shigeyoshi. The family has been farming without use of pesticides for the last 35 years, and like many farms in the Ureshino region, produce kamairicha, tamaryokucha and other green teas.
