This interactive lesson will introduce the basic types of Japanese tea sencha, fukamushicha, kabusecha, hojicha, and genmaicha. You will learn about their production, differences, how to brew them, and of course, get to taste them (we will direct you to show you how to steep them yourself)!
This lesson is a great starting point for diving deeper into Japanese tea, or a way to get an overview that helps you make the most of your tea!
At the moment, we are open for lesson reservations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 10AM and 4PM.
Please reserve at least one week in advance! There is no charge for a cancellation if made 2 days in advance. Cancellation fee on the day before the lesson is 20% of the lesson fee. Cancellation fee on the day of the lesson is 50% of the lesson fee.
If we need to cancel due an emergency, your booking will be refunded in full.
