This Kanayamidori cultivar was grown in the mountains of Yabe Village (Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture) at an altitude of about 500m. It is a cultivar that is characteristic with a milky sensation. Many people enjoy this black tea due to its sweet aroma and flavor. This black tea does not have a strong personality, so Chiyonoen recommends it for those who may not usually drink black tea - as it is a soft, gentle, pleasing Japanese black tea!
