Description

A single cultivar Japanese black tea made from tea leaves cultivated in the mountains at an altitude of 600m in Yabe Village (Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture). Husband and wife tea farmers Harashima-san carefully handles the picked tea leaves so that they are not scratched. In this way, the tea is finished on a pleasant note. This black tea is low in bitterness and astringency, and you will enjoy a gentle sweetness that spreads in your mouth. Sayama Midori is an older cultivar which was registered in the same year as the popular Yabukita cultivar. Because its personality lies in their unique aroma, please enjoy the smell of this cultivar by using a large amount of tea leaves.
