Introduction

Yuuki Tomura is a ceramic artist active in Okinawa under the artist name "tomboy." He currently teaches at Avurn Pottery & Ceramic Art School. His uniquely designed ceramic works are all handmade in Okinawa.

MESSAGE FROM TOMBOY

"Things destroyed in the past, thing being destroyed today, things that may be destroyed in the future. I want to express these impermanence of human, objects, or feelings with my ceramic works. My desire is to put a smile on someone's face who see my work in the distant future." (translated from the original words by Yuuki)
