Introduction

Tarui Tea Farm is a family-operated tea farm, factory, and shop established in 1970 in the small town of Nearai, on the outskirts of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Second-generation farmer Takayuki Tarui cultivates multiple tea cultivars across separate fields in the flatlands of Nearai and the nearby mountains. His father began growing tea organically, and Takayuki continued this tradition, certifying the farm and factory in 2003. He is committed to producing clean, deep-steamed tea for those who love Japanese green tea.
