Made of 6 families, all 2nd generation farmers, the Ikegawa Tea Farm Coop is a small cooperative in the Niyodogawa Village of Kochi Prefecture. The cooperative won the Minister's Award in 2008 at the Kansai Tea Competition for the Western Japan region (the top prize of any regional or national tea competition with at least 100 entries), and the Governor's Award for the Kochi Prefectural Tea Competition in 2013.
