Kyobancha is a large leaf green tea (bancha) from Kyoto that has been harvested in March after having grown over the winter, steamed and dried without rolling, then roasted. Producers in other regions also make similar unrolled/roasted bancha but may harvest in the autumn instead. These are also included here.
