I have been ordering from Yunomi for a year now, and I have never been disappointed. The tea always comes fresh, and sealed in a nice package. They usually also put an origami crane in the packaging, which is a nice touch that lets me know that there are humans on the other end of the process who love tea just as much as I do. So far, I have ordered the Gyokuro sampler, a beautiful teapot and cups, and Study Set. I have been more than happy with all so far and will continue to use Yunomi to find interesting teas and teaware in the future.

Why go to a supermarket and buy Japanese green tea in boxes and tea bags that are who knows how old, from who knows what farm, and in support of who knows what various companies along the way? Yunomi has made it possible for me to get super high quality bulk tea as close to direct from the grower as you can get. I order Shincha every Spring, from farms and farmers I have gotten to know through Yunomi blog posts and photos. It's the next best thing to flying to Japan, touring the tea farm and buying tea right there! It's practically straight from the tea farm to my house. I love it!
