The retail product created by the Otoyo Town Goishicha Producer's Association.

For over 400 years, the town of Otoyo has spent two months of its autumn to create the post-fermented tea that has come to be known as Goishicha (meaning "tea that looks like the stones used in the game Igo"). 

Goishicha Steeping Recommendation

By tea pot, place 1 block of goishicha (about 3 grams) into a tea pot (350 cc) and steep with hot water for 4-5 minutes. You can also brew this tea in a kettle: 1 block, 2 liters (2.11 quarts) of water for 10 minutes.
