The Tea Crane's Description

This tea is a high-quality sencha produced on organic farms, and is therefore both safe and unsullied: free of anything known to be unhealthy, and uncontaminated as to flavor. Consequently, it tastes as sencha really should.

The name of this cultivar – Okumidori – means in English ‘profoundly green’; and this applies not only to the hue of its leaves but also to its savor, which – in contrast to that of most other cultivars – combines a savory sweetness with an astringent aroma of freshly-mown grass that lingers somewhere within the area above the soft palate.

Note: Since this is repacked by Yunomi, it loses its organic certification.
