Sea salt combined with yuzu citrus powder made from yuzu citrus grown by farmer Yujiro Oishi on the island of Tsushima, Nagasaki prefecture.
The Oishi family discovered that yuzu grows well on the mountainous soil of Tsushima and that it is relatively easy to grow pesticide free. In this yuzu salt, the yuzu peel from Oishi Farm was carefully dried and crushed and blended with the sea salt (called Hama Oshio) coming from Tsushima Island. A local product which was finished by the kiln manufacturing method. Please enjoy the citric and refreshing scent and taste of yuzu which combines nicely with the mellow taste of the natural salt.
When to use yuzu salt? Serve with tempura or fried dishes, enjoy it with your pasta, chicken, or simply sprinkle it on salad with olive oil to make a refreshing appetizer. Have fun exploring!
