A Japanese black tea from farmer Etsuro Masui in Shizuoka, Mio has been oxidized only minimally, and is on the borderline between oolong / black tea, as evidenced by the slightly green tint to the leaves. The astringency is medium, like black tea, but contains the aromas of an oolong.
