Description
Kudzu (also called Japanese arrowroot or Chinese arrowroot) is a group of climbing and coiling perennial vines native to much of East and Southeast Asia. Chasandai's kudzu herbal tea is made with kudzu leaves and stems grown in Shimane Prefecture. Considered to be one of the seven herbs of autumn in Japan, it is said to be an herb that was very much integrated into the everyday lives of the people in Izumo Province (region that Chasandai Tea Factory is based). This tea was roasted for a gentle finish.
