The Yabe-en Tea Shop has been run by the Yabe family for over 80 years in the small city of Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, in northern Japan. Susumu Yabe, the current head processes tea sourced from around Japan as well as Japan’s northernmost commercial tea field in Ishinomaki (Kashima Tea Garden).
