Description
A standard sencha from the Kurihara family (based in Yame, Fukuoka prefecture), one of Japan's best at creating a premium green tea called gyokuro. The name “seseragi” is Japanese (せせらぎ), meaning the sound of water flowing in a stream. This is a typical and reasonably-priced sencha that can be enjoyed both at home and/or at work. In comparison to other senchas at this price, Kurihara tea farm’s Seseragi will be a few notches up with respect to taste! A characteristic of this tea is that one will experience a decent astringency (shibumi) with a very subtle sweet aftertaste. Please enjoy this tea across multiple steeps!
