This tea (or more accurately, tisane) was made with leaves grown without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers in the area between Kesennuma and Minami-sanriku, Miyagi Prefecture in Northern Japan. A rich but delicate tea processed in the style of traditional Japanese sencha, kuwacha mulberry tea has no caffeine and can be enjoyed straight or with milk.
