Uruchi rice (uruchi-mai in Japanese) is polished short-grain rice that is most commonly eaten in Japan. Toasted uruchi rice is mixed with black soybeans from Tokachi region of Hokkaido. Mix with green tea leaves to make your own genmaicha.
